How do i support you as a doula?
Hiring a birth doula can drastically improve your birth experience.
Not because I have magical powers or can predict how your birth may unfold. But because I help create an environment where you and your partner feel safe, seen, supported, comforted, and cared for. This care can have a HUGE impact on how you remember your birth and your birth experience as a whole.
Hiring a doula can transform your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your family.
I’ve supported over 200 births in my time as a doula, and although I can never say that “I’ve seen it all!” because each birth is so unique, I feel confident that I am able to show up for you with an abundance of experience, insight, and wisdom that I cater to be specific to you and your families needs.

After getting your consent and learning about your preferences, I offer hands on support to bring ease and comfort to your birth experience. Physical support is key for both medicated and unmedicated births.

Becoming a parent is a deeply transformative experience. As your doula, I become a trusted friend to walk alongside you during the celebrations and the challenges you may encounter.

I do not replace your partner, but rather allow them to be as present as possible, while offering them support along every step of the way.

I am passionate about providing up to date, evidence based information. Google can be a scary place, and I’m here to ensure that you have access to the best possible information about what’s happening in your body.

It is vital to me that you are seen and heard during your birth experience. I am tactful, respectful, and clear when communicating with your birth team to ensure that you are in the drivers seat and in charge during your birth.
I am fluent in birth.
Birth is my comfort zone, language, and passion. I am there to walk alongside you, no matter what path your pregnancy and birth takes or what your hopes and intentions are.
All care is personalized to who you are, what your love language is, and what your goals are. I do not come into conflict with the care of your midwife or OB, but rather work as a team, making sure that you always have someone to lean on.
